This page describes the data used by Paper Stock’s practice trading features.

Your account and practice activity

Clerk handles sign-in and account authentication. Paper Stock stores account information and practice activity, including virtual cash, positions, orders, journal notes, watchlists, and price alerts, to provide your dashboard across visits.

Competition visibility

You can join or leave the leaderboard from Competition. When participating, your display name and practice results are visible to signed-in traders. Avoid putting private information in your public display name.

Preferences and external services

Your browser stores theme and language preferences locally. Market data and charts use external providers, including TradingView; embedded content may connect your browser to those services.

Account settings

Use Account settings in your dashboard to manage your Clerk profile. Use Competition to change your leaderboard participation.
